This Privacy Policy explains how Shopally ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our websites and software (the "Service"). We handle personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

1. Who we are

Shopally provides inventory, sales and ordering software to businesses in the Philippines. For the account and website data described here, we act as the personal-information controller. For the business data you enter about your own customers, staff and suppliers, you are the controller and we process that data on your behalf as your service provider.

2. What we collect

Account details — business name, your name, email address, chosen subdomain, username and a securely hashed password.
Business data you enter — items, prices, inventory, customers, sales, purchases and similar records, which may include personal data about your own contacts.
Payment information — handled by our third-party payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems; we keep records such as plan, billing status and invoice history.
Usage and technical data — log data, IP address, device and browser information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure.

3. How we use personal data

To create and operate your workspace and provide the Service.
To process subscriptions, payments and renewals.
To secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
To send service messages such as verification, receipts and billing notices.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process personal data on the bases allowed by law, including your consent (given at signup), the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it, though this may limit your ability to use the Service.

5. Sharing and third parties

We share personal data only as needed to run the Service, with:

Payment providers to process subscription payments.
Infrastructure and email providers that host our systems and deliver our messages.
Authorities where required by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data storage and international transfers

Some of our providers may store or process data outside the Philippines. Where that happens, we take steps intended to ensure the data continues to receive a comparable level of protection consistent with applicable law.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We use organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and isolation of each customer's database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Subject to law, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erase or block, to data portability, to be indemnified for damage from mishandled data, and to lodge a complaint. To exercise these rights, email support@shopally.net. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

10. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in, keep your session secure, and remember basic preferences. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by reasonable means, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
